Role and Responsibilities for Dental Technician Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the successful candidates must be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) Summary of key responsibilities of Dental Technician: • The design and manufacture of advanced intra-oral and extra-oral custom made orthodontic devices within the Clearstep system • Liaising with dental teams throughout on going treatment • To observe and comply with current health and safety and COSHH legislation • Advise laboratory assistants, as appropriate • Ensure all work within the department is carried out to the highest quality, ensuring any mistakes or reoccurring problems are recognised, rectified as soon as possible, and brought to the attention of the relevant staff. • Ensure all laboratory measurements are completed correctly daily. • Ensure all areas and equipment within the department is maintained to a high standard. • Identify opportunities for improvement in cost, quality and delivery.
